I am a big football fan and it is playoff season! I love having friends over to watch the games, even if my NY Giants and Hubs’s Pittsburgh Steelers are out.  Le sigh.  I’ve posted some of my favorite game day snacks on Instagram recently and I am planning a week’s worth of slider recipes in anticipation of Super Bowl Sunday!  This coming week I will be a guest chef at my heaven on earth, The Golden Door.  This is an absolute dream come true for me and such an honor.  I am so excited for this opportunity!  I’ll post here and there on Instagram :).  Here’s your dinner planner for the week:

Meatless Monday: Poblano potato leek soup, quesadillas (swap avocados or refried beans for cheese to make it vegan or your favorite vegan cheese) I love adding roasted or sautéed veggies to my quesadillas!

Tuesday: Catherine McCord’s Lamb Chops with Yogurt Mint Sauce and Broccolini with Garlic, Chili Flakes, and Vinegar + a sweet potato 

Wednesday: Greek sheet pan chicken with lemons and potatoes and roasted carrots with garlic yogurt (or skip the yogurt sauce, but it’s delish)

Thursday: Kimchi fried rice with crispy tofu or a fried egg

Friday: Mixed green salad with green beans, almonds and dried cherry vinaigrettesimple broiled fillet of sole or flounder (there’s a recipe in KM p. 198)

Saturday Brunch: Banana-Chocolate Oatmeal 

Sunday: Whole roast chicken (I add potatoes, onions and carrots to the roasting pan), puree of broccoli
