This was a great week! ย I was in NY for a few days and spent some time with my family. ย I also cooked the chipotle turkey chili from my cookbook in an Instagram Live at The Feed Feed. ย You can find that footage here if you missed it. And, I taped a fantastic segment with one of my faves, Rachael Ray, on what you can do to get ahead of the game three weeks before Thanksgiving! ย That episode airs Friday, November 2nd. ย Check your local listings for channel and time. ย My girls are home for the weekend because we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of my husband’s parents. ย I am beyond excited to spend time with them!!

Here’s your dinner planner for the week:
Meatless Monday: Broccoli Caesar Saladย ย from Bon Appetit. Garnish with roasted slivered almonds. ย Serve with avocado toast + everything but the bagel seasoning.
Tuesday:ย Whole roasted slow cooker chicken with carrots, sauteed greens of choice
Halloween: Turkey Chili ย or yourย favorite chili recipe + a topping bar and cornbread
Thursday:ย Leftover turkey chili over roasted sweet potatoes or baked potatoes + steamed cauliflower
Friday:ย Miso glazedย cod + ginger slaw from my cookbook and roasted delicata squash
Saturday Brunch/Lunch: Bakedย Pumpkinย Oatmeal served with fresh fruit and full fat greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
Sunday: Cassoulet-style chicken and sausages, green salad with everyday salad dressing #1 or 2
Here’s what you can do ahead if you need to:
Sunday
Wash all greens
Make all vinaigrettes
Salt chicken
Prep topping ingredients
Mix dry ingredients for cornbread
Tuesday
Make turkey chili
Thursday
Prep delicata squash
Marinate cod
Prep slaw
