Dinner Planner – Week of March 4, 2024

March has always represented the light at the end of the tunnel.  I hated winters on the East coast and I knew March was the beginning of the end, even though we could have some chilly temps or even snow.  I knew I could make it!  My new online cooking class is uploaded and ready for viewing and cooking!  I would love to have more of you join that community.  I am asked almost daily to do in-person classes and friends, that ship has sailed.  I will only do 1-2 a month going forward so the online class is the way to go, plus it’s much more economical!  Here’s the fabulous menu this month:

Brussels Sprout Salad with Truffle Vinaigrette, Melting Potatoes and Sweet Potatoes, Spring Vegetables with Whipped Feta, Roasted Salmon with Sumac and Citrus, Lemon Crinkle Cookies

Dinner Planner – Week of February 26, 2024

Happy Weekend!  I am very excited that my mom and her friend are coming to visit this week.  We had a fabulous time when they came out here two years ago.  I am going to take them to the desert for a quickie and then the rest of the time in Manhattan Beach.  Should be fun!  For my monthly online cooking class subscribers, I am uploading the March class on Friday so check your inboxes for that.  Spring holidays are right around the corner :).  Here’s your dinner planner for the week:

Dinner Planner – Week of February 19, 2024

I am enjoying a three-day weekend in Palm Desert for the President’s Day holiday!  It’s lovely to spend some quality time with some friends and take a break from the kitchen for a short bit.  But that doesn’t mean I am not planning my meals for the week.  Since it is Lent, I will try to remember to plan for a non-meat or fish dinner on Fridays.  If I forget, just move things around on your own so that the meal plan works for you. Here’s my dinner planner for the week:

So much happening, friends!  I uploaded the February cooking class YAY!  It’s so good!  Every month I pre-record a brand-new cooking class which you can watch on your own time.  This month’s menu is:

  1. Lemony Parmesan Soup
  2. French Onion Soup Skillet Chicken
  3. Fennel and Celery Salad
  4. Roasted Truffle Potatoes
  5. Torta Caprese (this is a flourless chocolate cake famous on the island of Capri)

You can either subscribe to my classes and have access to the ENTIRE library of classes or purchase a single class.

Next, Super Bowl Sunday is next weekend.  It is the second biggest eating day of the year, so I need to start prepping NOW.  I have way too many recipes I could link, so I gave you just a sampling.  I’m doing a chili and taco bar this year! Here’s your dinner planner for the week:

Back to business this week though! I have a live zoom for any and all online cooking class subscribers on Wednesday, January 31st at 12:00 pm PST.  This is an extra for online subscribers who want to ask me anything!  Here’s your dinner planner for the week:

Dinner Planner – Week of January 22, 2024

I am a big football fan and it is playoff season! I love having friends over to watch the games, even if my NY Giants and Hubs’s Pittsburgh Steelers are out.  Le sigh.  I’ve posted some of my favorite game day snacks on Instagram recently and I am planning a week’s worth of slider recipes in anticipation of Super Bowl Sunday!  This coming week I will be a guest chef at my heaven on earth, The Golden Door.  This is an absolute dream come true for me and such an honor.  I am so excited for this opportunity!  I’ll post here and there on Instagram :).  Here’s your dinner planner for the week:

Dinner Planner – Week of January 15, 2024

Well, the party is over and Mr. Picky is headed back to college this weekend.  He’s been a sport and has not acted like he is tired of us, but my gut tells me he is ready to go back to school where people are not asking him all day what he had for breakfast and lunch and what he did every minute of the day. Just a hunch. So Hubs and I will be empty nesters again and back to our preferred dinner of soup. LOL It is not as depressing as it sounds!  Here is your dinner planner for the week:
