Easy Piña Colada Smoothie Recipe (Dairy-free)

This Pina Colada Smoothie recipe transports you to a tropical island with every sip, delivering a blend of pineapple sweetness, creamy coconut flavor, and a refreshing chill. It’s like vacation in a glass—perfect for hot days, busy mornings, or even as a healthy treat. The best part is you can whip it up in just minutes using simple ingredients you probably already have at home.
Servings: 1
Author: adapted from Smoothie Project, by Catherine McCord

Ingredients

  • 1/2 fresh or frozen banana peeled
  • 1/2 cup 80 g fresh or frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 cup 33 g frozen cauliflower florets (this adds creaminess and NO flavor, I promise)
  • 3/4 cup 180 ml coconut milk or milk of choice
  • 1 Tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1 serving collagen peptides
  • 1 handful of ice

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Notes

  • Using frozen pineapple and bananas eliminates the need for ice, giving you a thicker, more satisfying smoothie.
  • Want more sweetness? Add extra pineapple or a little honey, maple syrup, or stevia.
  • If you’re using this as a meal replacement, add a scoop of Greek yogurt, nut butter, or vanilla protein powder.
  • For best results, blend in stages. Start with the liquid and frozen items, then add soft ingredients like banana and cauliflower for a smoother consistency.
  • Add a big squeeze of lime juice for a bit more tropical tang.
  • Smoothies are best enjoyed fresh, but you can store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Give it a good stir or re-blend before drinking. For long-term storage, pour the smoothie into popsicle molds and freeze for a fun, portable treat.
