2-3 Tablespoons loose yerba mate tea (depending on how strong you like it)
½ cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
2 teaspoons raw honey or more to taste (use your favorite sweetener)
Instructions
Pour the hot water over the tea and steep for 5 minutes. Strain and allow to cool.
Pour the cooled tea into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid.
Place the tea ice cubes in a blender with almond milk and sweetener to taste. Blend until slushie! It will be spoonable at first, although you can enjoy it with a straw, but the slushie will start to melt and eventually turn into a liquid.
